VASCO: A woman was allegedly attacked and bitten by a pet dog at Pixem Dongri in Mormugao on September 17, 2026.
According to a complaint filed by Rhea Victoria D’Souza, the incident occurred at around 4.30 pm when she was walking along the road at Pixem Dongri.
The complaint alleges that Milagris Dsilva, the owner of the dog named Tyson, was aware that the animal was aggressive but allegedly left it unattended in an open area outside the premises.
The dog allegedly ran towards D’Souza, jumped on her and bit her, causing injuries.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. PSI Akanksh Fadte Dessai of Vasco Police Station is conducting further investigation.
