PANAJI: A case has been filed by the police against a young boy on suspicion of sexually abusing a fourteen-year-old girl between February and May.
Due to her father’s move to Mumbai, the girl and her parents, who had previously lived in Goa, relocated to Mumbai.
The girl began complaining of stomach symptoms in Mumbai, so her parents rushed her to a doctor. It was later discovered that she was six months pregnant. The local police were then notified of the situation.
Goa Police received the file from Mumbai Police after the girl disclosed the details of the full Goan incident. Police then opened a case about the situation.
Mumbai Police ascertained that the perpetrator was a child after initial inquiries with the victim.
Further investigation is underway.
