Panaji: The inaugural edition of the 1st All Goa State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament commenced in Margao, bringing together some of the state’s most promising table tennis players across various age categories.
The tournament is being organised by UV Academy in association with Saxtti Sports and Cultural Club and the Goa Table Tennis Association, with the objective of providing a competitive platform for emerging paddlers and promoting the sport at the grassroots level.
The opening ceremony was attended by chief guest Chirag Naik, who officially marked the beginning of the tournament and extended his support to the initiative aimed at nurturing young sporting talent in the state.
The competition is expected to witness intense contests across multiple categories as players compete for valuable ranking points and honours in one of Goa’s premier table tennis events.
