PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has announced that around 2,500 government jobs in Goa will soon be filled through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), reinforcing the state government’s push for transparent recruitment.
Addressing youth at the GHRDC Job Fair 2026, Sawant said the recruitment process introduced by his government ensures complete transparency. He highlighted that candidates are able to view their results immediately after completing the examination, eliminating doubts over fairness.
The Chief Minister said the upcoming examinations for the remaining vacancies will be conducted shortly, opening up significant employment opportunities for job seekers across the state.
He reiterated that the streamlined SSC-based hiring system marks a shift from earlier recruitment practices, aiming to build trust among candidates while ensuring merit-based selection.
The announcement is expected to benefit thousands of aspiring candidates, as the government accelerates efforts to fill pending vacancies across departments.
