VALPOI: A three-year-old boy died after sustaining serious injuries in an incident involving the collapse of a wall at his residence in Nanus, Valpoi, Sattari, police said.
According to police, a wireless message was received on August 8, 2026, at around 9.39 pm from the casualty department of GMC Bambolim informing them that Zovalz Mosim Aga, 3, a resident of Behind Jama Masjid, Nanus, Valpoi, had been declared dead.
The child was brought to the hospital under MLC No. 26/6411 and was declared dead in the casualty department. The body was subsequently referred for post-mortem examination.
Following the post-mortem, the cause of death was certified as “head injury consequent to blow force impact by surface and/or object.”
Police have initiated further enquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is being conducted by PSI Sohan Malik.
