DABOLIM: A 63 year old man ended his life at his flat in Dabolim.
According to information from Vasco police sources, the deceased identified as Krishna Hargi commited suicide by hanging himself to a ceiling fan by using Silk Lungi as ligature material
” The Vasco police were alerted through a phone call from one Rajesh who said that one person has locked himself inside the bedroom at Umiya Buliding, Dabolim. The police reached the spot and found bedroom door of the flat locked. The locked door was broke open with the help of the locals and the police saw that deceased Krishna Hargi had committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan . Vasco police conducted the scene of unnatural death occurrence and also conducted the inquest panchanama over the dead body of the deceased . The dead body was preserved at South Goa District Hopstal,Margao for further medico legal formalities. ” Said the source
Vasco police has registered a case of unnatural death under sections 194 of BNSS and PSI Archana Gaonkar is carrying out further investigation under the supervision of PI Vaibhav Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam
