AAP Goa’s Cuncolim unit led by Cuncolim Assembly incharge Prashant Naik filed a complaint with Cuncolim police on Thursday, after Cuncolim office was vandalised the Party posters and banners.
Naik filed a police complaint against unknown miscreants trespassed in the new office. He said in the complaint, ” On Saturday, 7/11/ 2021, we inaugurated the party office at Philips building in the Cuncolim market. The main objective of this office was to help the residents of Cuncolim with various government schemes and other matters”.
He alleged political opponents behind the act. He said, “on Wednesday at late night, some unknown miscreants trespassed in the office building and vandalised the Party posters and banners. I strongly suspect that some of my political opponents must have done this act out of rage and jealousy”.
He further said, “the news about this act of vandalism has spread in the constituency. I am receiving phone calls from public and have informed me that they are preparing to organise a mass protest against the act”.
He said, “hence in order to restore faith in police and to avoid any further untoward incidents. I request you to kindly investigate into this matter and book the culprit under appropriate sections of Indian penal code”.
