PANAJI: Abolianchem fest will be celebrated on 4th March 2023 at Nirmala Institute of Education from 10.00 a.m. onwards.
The theme for the fest is ‘Water- the elixir of life.’ Hence, there will be a thematic display of the socio-economic, cultural, traditional, ecological and agrarian significance of water. Since NIE is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee, the milestones spanning its sixty glorious years will be highlighted during the event.
The preparation for the fest began on 1st February 2023.Students have been trained in preparing eco-friendly items like mollam and palm leaf art to adorn the campus.
People will get an opportunity to learn and participate in some traditional games. Some other games like Komya Zuz, Ringanim, Bodeanim, Khambeanim will be demonstrated, while a few can be played in the stalls. You can taste and take home a variety of Goan delicacies.
There will be a display and sale of ornamental, medicinal and flowering plants too. Various handmade trinkets, household and gift items will be available in the Art and Craft stall.
The novice teachers will stage a variety of performances including an original Mando, musical compositions, songs, dances etc. More than a hundred novice teachers are all set to enthrall you with their Ghumot ensemble.
Some of our alumni and other prominent personalties will be interviewed for their remarkable contributions in their respective fields.
