PONDA: The Ponda Police booked one Sarvesh Gaonkar of Wadi Talaulim Village Panchayat for alleged illegal hill cutting at survey no.30/0 & 34/0 allegedly being carried out.
The accused is also charged with illegally possessing a huge amount of Gelatine explosives.
The offence registered under u/sec 286, 336 IPC, Sec. 17-A of the Goa TCP Act and Sec.5 of the Explosive substances Act.
TCP report says hill cutting carried out at 1″ site bearing survey. No. 34/0 has an approximate length X breadth x-height of 80 mts. X 22mts X height verifying from 5mts to 3.00mts
Cutting carried out 2 site Sy. No. 30/0 has approximate length XbX hof 13 mts X 2mtsX Imts.
