PANAJI: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has announced the appointment of a new team for the Social Media Department of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the appointments have been approved by the Congress President on the recommendation of the party leadership.
Himanshu Tivrekar has been appointed as Chairperson of the GPCC Social Media Department. Linclon Gomes and Ajmal Sayyed have been named Vice-Chairpersons.
The newly appointed Coordinators are Sohan Shenai, Macline Fernandes, Prathibha Borkar, Glen Larceda, and Armando Ferreira Alvares.
The GPCC congratulated the new office-bearers and expressed confidence that the team will strengthen the party’s digital communication, enhance its outreach among citizens, particularly the youth, and effectively communicate the Congress Party’s ideology, policies, programmes, and public issues across social media platforms.
