PANAJI: With the signing of MoU with 5ire blockchain network company, all the records of the Goa Police will now be digital within the next year.
Goa Police signed an MOU with 5ire generation blockchain network company today at the Crime Branch office in Ribandar. MOU was signed by S.P. Crime on behalf of Goa Police and Pratik Gauri, Founder and CEO 5irechain Techno Pvt. Ltd.
“All records of Goa Police will now be digital. Goa Police has signed a contract with ‘Fire Blockchain’ company. All records will be digital in the next one year. Account management will be paperless. The record we give to the company will be secure,” said Nidhin Valsan IPS SP, Crime Branch.
The MoU will create a public-private partnership between 5ire and Goa Police to implement a smart policing solution to improve transparency and efficiency in policing. It will help streamline procedures that reflect all events in greater detail for all stakeholders. The MoU will also help in the digitization and digitalisation of offline systems.
The blockchain-based smart policing solutions by 5ire can record all official activities accurately, allowing police to help the citizens with traceability to their records and evidence. Moreover, blockchain technology can help create sustainable smart policing solutions for Goa Police and make the processes online more eco-friendly and efficient.
5ire’s CEO and founder, Dr Pratik Gauri also expressed his happiness in signing the MoU with Goa Police.
