PANAJI: BJP Goa State President Sadanand Tanavade today said that allegations made of the distribution of money are totally wrong,
“The allegations made of the distribution of money are totally wrong, our karyakarta was going to give the slips to the people & the scooter broke down,” said Tanavade.
He further said that from Mapusa constituency Congress will not receive any votes from where the three (Shashank Narvekar, Anand Bhaidkar, Sudhir Kandolkar) belong.
“Our karyakartas have done the video recording of three distributing,” he added.
“I appeal to my Goan brothers and sisters to come out and exercise their vote. Let us together strengthen our democracy,” Tanavade said.
Tanavade said, “Voters have seen what work the Modi-led government has done at the Centre. We are sure of winning both the seats with huge margins.”
Tanavade said the party wishes voter turnout in both constituencies to cross 75-80 per cent. He said that though the BJP secured a 33 per cent vote share in the 2022 Goa assembly elections, the voting pattern differs in parliamentary polls.
