MUNGUL: One person died and several others were injured after a Tempo Traveller rammed into the rear of a water tanker engaged in watering plants along the road divider on the Western Bypass at Mungul, near Fatorda.
According to information available, the Tempo Traveller hit the tanker from behind and reportedly lost control following the collision, resulting in a serious accident.
One person succumbed to their injuries, while several others sustained injuries in the crash. The injured were taken for medical treatment.
The incident also raised concerns over emergency response after reports from the accident spot indicated that an ambulance had reportedly not arrived even after 30 minutes.
