CALANGUTE: According to Calangute police, the complainant Arun Malik from Sonipat Haryana, appeared at the
Police Station “and reported the incident occurred with them at Jupiter Club, Calangute.
Accordingly, an offence was registered against the accused: Ravi Chawan, Vinit Malik, 3 Subham Jillewar and Jeevan.
The complaint says that at about 14.00 hrs at Jupiter
Parlour, beside Dominos Pizza, Calangute Bardez Goa, the above-noted accused person Ravi Chawan approached the complainant and his friend Mukesh and took them to Jupiter Restaurant/ massage parlour at Calangute which was mạnaged
by accused No. 4 on the pretext of providing massage and induced the complainant to transfer an amount of Rs. 6000/- through Google pay
including Rs. 2000/- as a security deposit in the bank account of accused Shubham Jillewar.
Further, they did not provide a massage as promised, and Vinit forced the complainant to pay Rs. 32,000/- bill amount of the alcohol consumed by two females already present in the restaurant/ massage parlour.
On refusing to pay the said amount of Rs. 32,000/-, the complainant and his friend Mukesh were confined in one room to recover the bill amount. Further, the accused person No. 2 pushed the complainant and also abused the complainant and his friend in filthy language and threatened with dire consequences to killing, and neither gave
massage service nor returned their money, thereby cheating and attempting to commit robbery of Rs. 32,000/- from the complainant and his friend.
Hence offence U/s 323, 506(i), 342, 420, 392, R/.w 511 of IPC. FIR copies are being prepared to be submitted to the Hon’ble JMFC Mapusa and concerned superiors. The accused have been remanded to four days of police custody.
