According to the comparative data on motor vehicle accidents and fatalities, 92 fatal accidents were reported in both periods. However, fatalities declined from 96 in 2025 to 91 in 2026, registering a 5.2% reduction. Team Goemkarponn CURTORIM: The dead body of 51-year-old Mahendra Tulaskar, a resident of Curtorim and originally from Mumbai, Maharashtra, was found in a partially decomposed state in a marshy jungle area at Fondegal, Curtorim.
