According to information received from Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, Afrin Khan, a resident of Gandhinagar, Sanvordem, originally from Shimoga in Karnataka, died while undergoing treatment at the hospital on May 16. As part of the ongoing investigation, the investigating officer, along with the victim, police personnel and a forensic team, visited the alleged crime scene to gather additional evidence linked to the case. Police sources said the inspection was carried out to reconstruct the sequence of events and assist in the forensic examination related to the investigation.
