According to police, the incident came to light on March 8 at around 7:14 pm when 108 Emergency Services in Panaji informed authorities about an unresponsive person at Sanjay Colony, Kegdicotto Power House. The boy was shifted to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Balli, where the on-duty doctor declared him brought dead. The boy, a native of Bihar, was later identified by family members.
