With 125 recoveries on Monday, Goa seems to be reversing the trend of COVID19 cases as the positive cases also showed a decline. The recoveries also continued to rise with 125 cases recovering today taking the active cases to 745. The State currently has 1813 confirmed cases and 1061 recovered cases. Interestingly, the recovery rate too jumped to 58.5 p.c. The national recovery rate is 60 p.c. However, the worrying factor is that the cases have started to increase in the slums like Camrabhat and Indiranagar, Chimbel, besides Zuarinagar and Moti Dongor in South. The Corporation of City of Panaji (CCP) has now decided to reconstitute those seven ward committees for the City of Panaji which includes Ribandar. The CCP’s decision comes after Adv.
