Team Goemkarponn CANACONA: A woman sustained a fracture after she was allegedly assaulted with a wooden stick at Maxem in Canacona, police said. According to a complaint lodged by Anita Varak, a resident of Canacona, the incident occurred at around 1.30 pm on June 20 at Tanshi, Maxem. She alleged that Narayan Gaonkar, a resident of Maxem, assaulted her with a wooden stick, causing a fracture to her right forearm. Canacona Police have registered a case against the accused, and further investigation is being carried out by PSI Ramdas Doifode.
