Goemkarponn desk SANCOALE: The Department of Legal Metrology has booked 43 cases and seized goods worth Rs 10 lakhs in a drive across Goa ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Speaking to reporters, Nitin Purushan, Assistant controller, said the seized goods include firecrackers, dry fruits and sweets. “The department has booked 43 cases, which include 23 package cases and 20 enforcement cases. The total seized goods are worth Rs 10 lakhs,” he said.
