PERNEM: Pernem Police today has arrested a Telangana Native for illegal possession of drugs worth Rs 50,000.
The accused has been identified as Mazhar Ahmed Mohammed (51) and is a native of Telangana.
Mazhar was nabbed with ganja worth Rs 50,000 from Kerim, Pernem.
Mazhar, who hails from Hyderabad and is presently residing at Kerim, was found in possession of 500-gram ganja during a raid at his rented room.
