Goemkarponn desk VALPOI: Almost 150 cattle died due to a sudden rise in water levels at Nanus Gaushala. The water level rose sharply at midnight on Thursday and early Friday morning. Hanumant Parab, chairman of the Gaushala Management Committee, said that the unfortunate incident occurred as the water inundated Gaushala. Locals say this has resulted in a loss of about Rs 15 lakh.
