Goemkarponn desk Margao: A day after Goemkarponn exposed the illegal construction coming up near Moti Dongor Margao, the structures were demolished by the mamlatdar this morning. Speaking to Goemakrponn, Salcete Mamlatdar Prataprao Gaonkar said that all the structures have been demolished following complaints. He said the property belongs to the Hospicio Hospital and it is upto them to file an FIR. “We have carried out the demolition as per talathi report,” he said. Goemakrponn desk Panaji: Governor of Goa has summoned the Budget Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly from March 24, 11.30 pm. The notification issued says “In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I, Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Governor of Goa, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa to meet at Assembly Hall on Wednesday, 24th March, 2021 at 11.30 a.m.” Sources reveal teh Budget session would be of 12 working days from March 24 to April 12.

Goemkarponn desk Margao: The Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant assured to resolve the issue of the Sanguem market association vendors following which the bandh call has been withdrawn, said former MLA Subash Faldesai. After the bandh call given this morning by the association, who claimed the appeals to government have fallen on deaf ears, Faldesai led a delegation to the Chief Minister in Margao today.
