Goemkarponn desk MARGAO: In last six months, Madgaon, Colva, Maina-Curtorim, Cuncolim and Fatorda police stations have taken action against 15,058 drivers for violating traffic rules and recovered Rs 17 lakh from them. So far, Rs 17 lakhs has been recovered for speeding, driving the vehicle without a number plate, not wearing a helmet and seat belt, driving under the influence of alcohol and unlicensed driver. Margao police took action against 3844 drivers and recovered a fine of Rs 4 lakh 17 thousand.
