Tehran: Iran has placed 45 vessels on a blacklist over alleged violations of its transit protocols for the Strait of Hormuz, including ships linked to India and Pakistan, escalating pressure on commercial shipping through the strategically important waterway. The Persian Gulf Strait Authority has listed the India linked bulk carrier Maha Roos among vessels considered non compliant with Iranian arrangements for crossing the strait. New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has approved the transfer of Defence Research and Development Organisation technologies related to all conventional missile systems to Indian companies for indigenous production, marking a major push towards greater self reliance in defence manufacturing. The Defence Ministry said the Transfer of Technology will enable eligible Indian industries to manufacture DRDO developed conventional missile systems within the country.
