Mumbai: The Indian Navy has commissioned INS Mangrol, its third Anti Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC), strengthening India’s ability to detect and counter submarine threats in coastal and shallow waters. Built by Cochin Shipyard Limited in Kochi, the warship is designed to protect ports, harbours and coastal approaches while supporting the Navy’s wider maritime operations.
