Ayodhya: On the sacred occasion of Ram Navami, the city of Ayodhya embarked on a journey of spiritual splendor, illuminating its banks with a stunning display of devotion. More than 2.5 lakh earthen lamps were lit, casting a golden glow along the Saryu River, while the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, nearing its final stage of construction, was resplendent in lights and flowers.
The core of the celebration revolved around the grand Sandhya Aarti at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Ghat, where thousands of devotees congregated. The air was filled with chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” setting the tone for a deeply spiritual experience. Close to 2 lakh diyas adorned the ghat’s steps, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle that captivated all who attended.
A unique highlight of the festivities was the ‘Surya Tilak,’ a rare phenomenon where a beam of sunlight precisely illuminated the forehead of Ram Lalla at noon. This moment was marked by prayers offered by priests, adding to the spiritual intensity of the day. Additionally, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended warm greetings, underscoring the significance of Lord Ram in Indian culture and society.
