CAMPAL: The Sports Journalist Association of Goa (SJAG), in collaboration with the Sports Authority of Goa, Goa Badminton Association (GBA), Panjim Badminton Club, and the Panjim Table Tennis Club, organized a two-day Press and Media Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament that concluded on April 15 at the Indoor Stadium in Campal. The tournament saw the participation of media personnel from different media houses across Goa, showcasing their skills in badminton and table tennis.
Bambino Dias emerged as an outstanding athlete during the tournament, securing two Gold medals, one Silver, and one Bronze medal. Amresh Parab also shone in the tournament, winning 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and two Bronze medals. Sachin Chatte won 1 Gold and 1 Silver, Savio Noronha won 1 Gold and 1 Bronze, while Trisha Naik won 1 Gold.
Narahar Thakur (President, GBA), Sandeep Heble (Secretary, GBA), Mahesh Gaonkar (President, SJAG), Dhiraj Mahambre (Secretary, SJAG) graced the occasion among others. Results:
