PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the Bill to form a Mining Corporation is yet to receive assent from the Governor of Goa.
Sawant also said that assembly elections will be held on time in February 2022.
“Bill to form mining corporation is yet to receive accent from the Governor of Goa,” said CM Sawant
He further said that mining will be started at the earliest and that the state government is serious about it.
Regarding education policy, CM Sawant said that the state government will implement a new education policy from the next academic year by taking all the stakeholders into confidence.
Sawant also informed that the state government is contemplating training youth of the state to prepare for competitive exams like the IAS and IPS.
“Government will begin coding and robotic classes for students,” said CM
Meanwhile, CM said that Bhumiputra Adhikarni Bill is kept open for suggestions from public members from August 4.
“You can give all your suggestions on goaonline.gov.in. We will accept the valid ones and reintroduce the Bill in the Goa legislative assembly in another session that will be held in two months,” he added.
