PANAJI: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that bogus dentists from outside the state were setting up dummy clinics and duping foreign tourists.
CM was addressing the 18th conference of the Goa branch of the All India Dental Association held in Panaji.
Sawant said the government would take strict action against such culprits if there are any complaints registered.
“But no one comes forward to lodge a complaint, hence we cannot take any action against such people,” he said.
The Chief Minister stated that Goa is not just limited to “Sun, sea and sand” and the state is progressing in the field of medical tourism.
“Some people are taking undue advantage by posing as fake dentists and duping unsuspecting foreign nationals,” Pramod Sawant further said.
