FATORDA: A burglary has been reported at a residence in Borda, Salcete, where unknown culprits allegedly broke into a house and stole cash and gold ornaments.
According to the complaint lodged by Ismail Shaikh, a resident of Living Space Castle, Borda, the theft took place between 3:00 pm on June 7, 2026, and 9:45 pm on June 8, 2026. During this period, the accused allegedly broke open the main door of the house, entered the bedrooms, and decamped with ₹50,000 in cash.
The stolen valuables also included four gold bangles, four gold finger rings, and five pairs of gold earrings.
Fatorda Police have registered a case against unknown persons and launched an investigation. PSI Satvashil Devidas of Fatorda Police Station is conducting further investigation.
