PANAJI: Ahead of the possible Cabinet reshuffle in Goa, BJP National Gen Sec Vinod Tawde and BJP Goa Desk Incharge have arrived in Goa.
Both the party leaders are expected to hold discussions with top Goa leadership in view of the cabinet reshuffle before the Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
Sources disclosed that the BJP is identifying ministers who are to be dropped and those who are to be included.
It was disclosed an informal exercise has started for a cabinet reshuffle within the BJP.
Sources say there are speculations that at least three ministers will face the axe. That means that Pramod Sawant will have three new ministers post the budget session.
CM Pramod Sawant said changes are needed in his government and they will happen in due course “It may take some time,” he said.
Sawant said that his government has completed two years, and there are three more years for the next assembly election.
“We need to give better output. I have more expectations considering Viksit Bharat 2047, we have to have a good Viksit Goa team,” he said.
