CALANGUTE: Calangute Police arrest two accused for committing theft of mobile phone worth Rs 80,000.
The accused have been identified as Mahesh Tupkar r/o Parra, Jahidul Mondal n/o West Bengal.
During course of further investigation, articles worth Rs 2.50 lakh were recovered from the accused person.
Upon interrogation, they admitted their involvement in the theft and confessed that they have given the mobile phone to Myran Viegas and Raju Rathod, Age 24yrs, R/o Nagao, N/o Hubli Gadag, who were also apprehended, interrogated and later placed under arrest.
Successful apprehension of the accused and recover was made by Team Members HC Vishal Gawas, Satish Sawant, HC Vidhyanand Amonkar, PC Amir Garad, Pc Vijay Naik, PC Pravin Chodankar, PC Ganpat Tiloji ,PC Gaurav Chodankar, Pritesh Kinlekar HC Driver Manoj Shinde under overall supervision of PI of Calangute PS.
