CANACONA: Canacona Police have registered a case against a man for allegedly trespassing into a shop at Agonda, damaging property, issuing death threats and assaulting the shop owner.
According to the complaint filed by Kamal Kishor, a resident of Canacona and native of Delhi, the incident took place between 1.30 pm on August 28 and 8.30 am on August 29, 2026, at Agonda, Canacona.
The accused, identified as Ankush Pagi, a resident of Canacona, allegedly criminally trespassed into the complainant’s rented shop and damaged 18 boxes of floor tiles, causing an estimated loss of ₹15,000.
The complainant further alleged that when he and his labourers were engaged in flooring work at the shop, the accused abused and threatened them with death.
According to the complaint, the accused also allegedly assaulted the complainant by slapping him and delivering fist blows.
Canacona Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Ramdas Doifode of Canacona Police Station.
