DABOLIM: A man from Jharkhand has been booked for allegedly unlawfully entering and loitering inside the restricted defence area of INS Hansa at Dabolim.
According to a complaint lodged by Akshay, Lieutenant Commander, INS Hansa, Dabolim, the incident occurred on October 29, 2026, at around 6 pm at the Centre Gate of INS Hansa.
The accused, identified as Akash Tullu Urao, a resident of Hatia, Jharkhand, allegedly entered the restricted defence premises without any lawful authority or permission.
The complaint states that the accused unlawfully loitered within the prohibited area with the alleged intention of committing an offence, thereby violating the security restrictions imposed on the defence establishment.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Plato Carvalho of Vasco Police Station.
