CANACONA: Canacona police have arrested a Russian national for staying in Goa without a valid passport and Visa.
Accused person Andrei Tsaune, Russian National, is taken into custody for staying in Goa, India without possessing valid passport and Visa thereby contravening the provision of Foreigner Order 1948 and Foreigners Act 1946.
Tsaune is booked and charged U/s 7 (1), 7(3)(iii) of Foreigner Order 1948 punishable U/s 14 of Foreigners Act 1946 and is presently lodged for 5 days in judicial Custody.
Further investigation is with PSI, Rajasekhar Reddy of Canacona Police Station.
