BASTORA: An automobile that was traveling at a high speed lost control and turned turtle on the Bastora Highway, according to a self-accident report. Thankfully, only minor injuries were sustained by all occupants, so no casualties were reported.
A self-accident was reported at Bastora highway on Wednesday morning at approximately seven in the morning. A fast-moving car lost control and ended up upside down on the service road.
The three friends who were inside the car were the owners of the Karnataka registration. The driver and the other three passengers are suspected of being drunk.
Locals rushed to help the trio get out of the car but were immediately taken aback by their behaviour.
The trio began to behave rudely and even assaulted the locals who were trying to help them. An eyewitness who was trying to record the incident claimed that the driver snatched his phone and threw it in the wetlands.
Witnessing the offensive behaviour of the driver, locals called the police. Police reached the spot in no time and apprehended the driver.
