PONDA: Mardol Police have registered a case after unknown persons allegedly vandalised and set a parked Skoda car on fire at a vehicle yard near Government College, Khandola, Marcel.
According to the complaint lodged by Head Constable Bhavesh Kumbharjuvekar of Mardol Police Station, the incident occurred before 1.45 am on June 19, 2026. The accused allegedly broke the front right-side window glass of the Skoda car, which was parked in an open space at the vehicle yard, before intentionally setting the vehicle ablaze.
The fire caused extensive damage to the car, resulting in significant financial loss to its owner.
Mardol Police have registered an offence against unknown persons, and further investigation is being carried out by Head Constable Bhavesh Kumbharjuvekar.
