CANACONA: A career guidance programme aimed at helping Class X students make informed academic and professional choices was organised at Shree Mallikarjun Higher Secondary School, drawing enthusiastic participation from students and staff.
The session focused on emerging career opportunities, professional courses, and real-world industry insights. Guest speakers Rodney Fernandes and Dhaval Gandhi addressed the gathering, encouraging students to explore diverse career paths beyond conventional options. They highlighted the importance of awareness, planning, and informed decision-making in shaping future careers.
The programme sought to create awareness about new-age career avenues while motivating students to pursue their goals with clarity and confidence.
Chairman of Centro Promotor De Instrucao Managing Committee Shamba Naik Dessai, along with management members, General Body President Babuso Naik Gaonkar, and Chairman of Shri Mallikarjun College Chetan Manju Dessai were present on the occasion. Principal of Dempo College Manoj Kamat also attended the programme.
The event was compered by Manoj Naik Gaonkar, while Principal Vihar Naik Dessai delivered the welcome address.
