PANAJI: Casa Moderna restaurant in Panaji City was gutted in fire in Wednesday’s wee hours.
Fire and Emergency Services (FES), who rushed on the spot, said that furniture, electrical appliances and all other items in the ground, plus two structures, were burnt to ashes.
Officials said that the fire’s cause and estimated loss are yet to be ascertained.
Luckily, no one has been injured in the incident. Shops in the close vicinity are also safe. Firefighters managed to douse the fire by using 3 fire tenders.
