CURCHOREM: Curchorem Police have registered a case against an unknown person for allegedly creating and circulating a false electronic record on social media, resulting in reputational harm to the complainant.
According to the complaint filed by Nilesh Cabral, a resident of Bepquegal, Curchorem, the accused allegedly prepared a false electronic record and circulated it on social media prior to June 11, 2026. The complainant alleged that the content damaged his reputation.
Based on the complaint, Curchorem Police registered Crime No. 26/2026 under Sections 336(4) and 356 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against an unknown accused.
Further investigation is being carried out by PSI Bharat Kharat of Curchorem Police Station.
