CANACONA: The annual Chaturmasya Vrata Samapti celebrations were held at Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math on Sunday (September 27, 2026), marking the culmination of the 55-day observance held from August 5 to September 26.
This year’s Chaturmasya Vrata marked the 10th Chaturmasya Vrata of Paramapoojya Shreemadh Vidhyadeesh Teerth Shreepad Vader Swamiji and the fourth Chaturmasya observed by Paramapoojya Swamiji at the sacred Partagali Jeevottam Math, established in 1578.
A large number of devotees and Samajbandhav participated in the concluding procession. Maharaj Swami, seated on a throne, led the procession and entered the Math premises along with Math Committee Chairman Shreenivas V. Shenvi Dempo, amid chants of “Swami Maharaj Ki Jai” by the devotees.
During the 55-day period, devotees had the opportunity to participate in sacred rituals, spiritual discourses, bhajans and various other devotional activities and cultural programmes organised at the Math.
The Samapti ceremony brought the annual Chaturmasya observance to a devotional conclusion, with devotees gathering to seek the blessings of Maharaj Swami.
