PANAJI: Chief Minister and Chairperson of the Goa State Disaster Management Authority, Dr. Pramod Sawant, chaired a preparatory meeting on South-West Monsoon preparedness at Mantralaya, Porvorim.
Present at the meeting were Revenue Minister Shri Babush Monserrate, Chief Secretary Dr. V. Candavelou, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Revenue) Shri Sandip Jacques, IAS, DGP Goa Shri Alok Kumar, IPS, and Heads of Departments (HODs), among other key officials.
The meeting focused on interdepartmental coordination and readiness to ensure effective disaster response and public safety during the upcoming monsoon season.
