PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant launched a sharp attack on the Congress and other opposition parties for allegedly misleading citizens about the Mhaje Ghar Yojana. Addressing residents, Sawant said that when the housing bill was passed in the Assembly, Congress members had walked out and later criticized him outside, claiming the legislation would “finish Goa.”
Taking a dig at his opponents, the CM remarked, “Now all these parties—RG, AAP, Congress—will come to your doorsteps to help fill forms. You should tell them there’s no need. Our Chief Minister, MP, and MLAs are here to fill our forms.”
Sawant reaffirmed that the Mhaje Ghar Yojana is designed to provide legal ownership and security to Goans who have lived for years under the threat of their homes being deemed illegal.
