PORVORIM: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Wednesday chaired an inter-departmental alignment meeting at Mantralaya to accelerate the implementation of the Goa Sustainable Agriculture Action Plan (GSAAP) 2025 under the CM-Krishi SAMPARK Goa (Sustainable Agriculture Market Partnership for Access, Reach & Knowledge) initiative.
The meeting focused on advancing the state’s commitment to Aatmanirbhar Bharat, Swayampurna Goa, and the Goa State Amrit Kaal Agriculture Policy 2025 through better coordination among government departments and implementing agencies.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed all departments to work in close coordination with implementing agencies and support partners to ensure the timely execution of the action plan.
Sawant stressed the need for greater accountability and outcome-driven implementation, instructing departments to focus on delivering visible and measurable results within the next 90 days. He said coordinated efforts across departments would be crucial in achieving the objectives of sustainable agriculture and strengthening Goa’s agricultural sector.
