CMC Dy Chairperson Laxuman Pagui Resigns as musical chair continues in CMC

CANACONA: Canacona Municipal Council ()CMC) Dy. Chairperson Laxuman Pagui submitted his resignation papers from the post of Dy. Chairperson on Tuesday.
The move is, however, seen to rotate the posts of Chairperson and Dy. Chairperson amongst the 7 ruling dispensation members in the 12 Canacona Municipal Council.
Palolem councillor Laxuman alias Bakal Pagui quit the post after completing his one-year tenure, becoming the second councillor to resign after Kindlem Councillor Amita Pagi, who made way for him in this term.
Ponsulem Councillor Narscisco (Nadin) Fernandes is tipped to succeed Laxuman -Pagi as the third Dy. Chairperson. Initially, Kindlem Councillor Amita Pagi was given the post of Dy. Chairperson, followed by Laxuman (Bakal) Pagui.
