BICHOLIM: Police have registered an unnatural death (UD) case after a 42-year-old bus conductor from Karnataka was found lying unconscious near a roadside jungle area at Navelim.
According to police, the information was received in the early hours of May 4 when Imtiyaz Khan (65), a driver from Bengaluru, approached Sankhalim Outpost and reported that his conductor, Arif Pasha (42), was found lying near the roadside vegetation.
Based on the information, Bicholim Police registered a UD case (No. 32/2026) under Section 194 of the BNSS at around 2:27 am.
Police have initiated an inquiry to ascertain the circumstances under which the man was found. Further investigation is being conducted by LPSI Archana Sharma.
