SALIGAO: Saligao Police are investigating the alleged theft of a large copper utensil worth approximately ₹15,000 from the open backyard of a residential premises at Grand Marod, Saligao.
According to the complaint filed by Sanjay P. Pednekar, the incident occurred at around 4.30 am on August 31, 2026, at his residence at Grand Marod, Saligao, Bardez.
Police said the accused, identified as Anil Vijay Mane, a resident of Sanquelim, and Aditya Moses of Mapusa, allegedly entered the premises and stole a large copper utensil, locally referred to as a ‘madki’.
Further investigation is in progress under PSI Akshay Gaonkar of Saligao Police Station.
