Goa’s COVID-19 caseload reduced a bit today with 508 new people getting infected to the deadly virus; the lowest in the last 72 hour. The recoveries are 386.
As per the bulletin issued by Directorate of Health Services (DHS), of the 2,523 samples tested on Friday, 508 were positive while 1,,631 were negative. The reports of 384 samples are awaited. Till date, the State has conducted 2,08,917 tests.
A 54-year old female and 60 year old Male from Davorlim, both were brought dead to the South Goa district hospital on Thursday and were later found to be positive during the post-mortem.
Further a 78 year old Male from Ribandar, 76 year old female from Aldona, 79-year old female from Benaulim, admitted in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), were also declared dead on Thursday.Also, a 65 year old female and a 48-year old unknown male patient died in ESI- hospital on Thursday.
All the victims were suffering from co-morbid condition.
As many as 160 patients are currently admitted in hospital isolation while 270 have opted for home isolation.
