REVORA: Dead body of an elderly person was discovered floating in the river close to Revora.
As part of their ongoing investigation, Colvale police have filed a complaint for an unnatural death.
Devanand Shinde of Revora, 60, has been identified as the dead.
When locals noticed the body in the river, the incident became public knowledge.
Firemen from Mapusa were notified right away, and a team under the command of DS Sawant arrived on the scene quickly. After locating the body, they turned it over to the Colvale police.
Police said that before his death was found, Shinde had vanished and that his family had been looking for him. Police in Colvale are looking into the death’s circumstances right now.
